My first visit to Turkey was to Kalkan and I stayed in our friends' apartment at a reduced rate! I would say Kalkan is definitely the sort of place to go if you want to unwind as it's tourism industry is still very much in its infancy. We went on long walks around the beaches an harbour and a few excursions to nearby Patara. We also ate in some lovely traditional restaurants and experienced friendly service. Highly recommended if you are a couple or looking to chill out and relax!

Our first ever holiday to Turkey took us to Hisaronu. We stayed at the Pine Hill Hotel (5 mins walk from the shops - and there are loads!) and while the accommodation was basic, it was more than madfe up for by the friendly and proffessional staff, the pool, the food and the nightly entertainment.
We ventured onto several excursions - the best for us being a turkish bath in Fethiye, scuba diving in Dalyan and microlyting not far from the hotel.
If you want genuine 100% fake gucci, prada etc anything (handbags, wallets and purses in particular) then this is the place to get them at knockdown prices.
We absolutely loved the place and the people and will be going back next year.
